I have scanty hair. please advice me as to how I could grow thick hair. I’m desperate
Your roots will grow out in 4-6 weeks. It is permanent, however it is not a miracle
meaning it is not going to stop the gray hairs from growing back in. The average persons hair grows 1/2 inch a month.
There for, do your whole head or roots coming in, depending on color. if you have dark brown hair with gray roots coming in , then just use dark brown on the roots. If you are light brown and you want to be dark brown use dark brown on all of your hair and then just do the roots when your light brown hair grows back in. See the video on root touch ups at Henna Hut.
Hope that helps!
Im slightly confused. On a link to henna hut there is a FAQ page. There is a question about how long the hair dye lasts, the answer being 4-6 weeks. On many other locations on the site it says permanant and you only need to dye again to enhance color or touch up roots… Clarification? thanks
It helps yes, but if you are wanting to go blond or light we cannot help. Cassia obovata and Amla can sometimes give dirty blond/light brown, however if you have semi dark hair you will see nothing. You must have all white or gray for this to work.
If you want to lighten it naturally then I would just use pure squeezed lemons and maybe do some natural red highlights. You can apply our natural red to just the gray areas and it will give you highlights which is very in right now and pretty sure it always will be.
Hi am in 50 yrs old and I need something that is all natural to help control the grey in my hair, Please can you help with advise on which product to use…I have dirty blonde hair that gets light in the summer and dark in the winter, I need something I can not stand the gray…I was told about your website to give it a try, I have been using only shampoo’s for blondes all my life and using a lemon spray for it in the summer months to lighten my hair. I can not use the lemon spray anymore because it contains chemicals. I have very long hair I am 5’4 and my hair I can almost sit on it…i hope this information helps. .
thank you…
1. Store henna is never any good as well as the indigo.
2.You didn’t buy our henna and indigo! That is what you did wrong! Here is a video to help you out. http://www.hennahut.com/henna_videos
3.You did it all wrong. Also here is mixing instructions for “our” harvest Moon brand. How to mix Henna and Indigo
I want to a brown colour from the henna red I alreadly got. So I bought a cheap henna and indigo. The henna I left for 12 hours and I mix the indigo with water and left it for 20mins before mixing together and put it on head. But before that I dyed the dark roots a blond so I can have full brown colour, washed out. I left it on for 5 hours. When rinising out the colour didn’t take and I was left with henna red as before!
Why is that?? When I mixed the indigo with water I noticed it didn’t change colour like a deep blue but instead a deep green! It look like indigo, it smells like indigo like frozen peas. But no indigo blue like pictures show on the main site. The henna stains my hands of red henna (I use no gloves) but no bright red on hair.
WHAT DID I DO WRONG?? My mixture was 88g Henna 20g Indigo
1. How do I get the heavy fullness that I got from the henna I bought in Israel? Many add a lot of things, we do not. Harvest Moon henna should make your hair thicker/healthier.
2. How do I get my hair shiny, but not soft? Use Harvest Moon Hair Dye®
3. I don’t use conditioners because, as I said, it tends to be oily at the roots, but then my ends are dry. What to do? Use Shikakia it is special for your roots.
4. And most important, how long does your dye last on the gray part of my hair? It is permanent and will last until your roots grow out
Thanks!
Hello,
I want a natural hair dye, so I tried the better kind of available brands. The colors of both were very nice (dark brown), they covered the gray, I have about 20%. But after the first shampoo (organic), the color began fading around my face where I have the gray. Also, the dyes made my hair soft, which I do not need. 15 years ago, I was in Israel, and I bought some Henna and used it. The hair was not shiny, but it was full and thick. Of course, the color was brassy. As my hair is fine and soft and it tends to get oily at the roots, I have a few questions:
1. How do I get the heavy fullness that I got from the henna I bought in Israel?
2. How do I get my hair shiny, but not soft?
3. I don’t use conditioners because, as I said, it tends to be oily at the roots, but then my ends are dry. What to do?
4. And most important, how long does your dye last on the gray part of my hair?

I am not familiar with those brands and very sad to hear about your sister. First thing I would do is see a nutritionist and or a doctor. Most scalp conditions or hair conditions start with the diet most people are eating.
As far as Harvest Moon Hair Dye® I would use the medium brown found here. Brown Hair Dye . I hope you get better real soon!
I have been using REDKIN for many years as my sister purchased it for me, She passed last year and I started using IONfrom Sally’s and now my hair is falling out. Can you help me. I would like to stay a medium borwn as I am naturally grey, so I need to know what to do to achieve a nice medium brown with the opportunity to cover upp the grey each month. Please advise as I am desperate. I am loosing my hair like crazy.
